John has over 25 years’ experience in agri commodities, advisory, finance and venture building. John has held senior roles in Sydney and Singapore in agri trade, risk management and finance at CBA, UBS, Standard Chartered and Goldman Sachs. Prior to this, he was involved in term debt (Rabobank) and commodity hedge advisory in Australia and the US. Most recently, as Managing Director of AgRee, he has provided trade/supply chain, capital raising and risk advisory services to leading global trade-houses, alternate asset managers, financiers, private businesses, consultancies (e.g. grants and R&D), start-ups, RDCs and state & national governments.
AgRee Commodities Pty Ltd (AgRee) was established in 2014 to assist in the evaluation and trade of agricultural products, real assets and technology. John travels between Australia and Asia regularly, trading as AgRee.
